- Born in Treviso on December 3rd 1950, he holds his amateur license since 1976. He has 1201 wins and 1833 placed in career. Among the best breeders and owners in Italy, his Scuderia Biasuzzi is the stable with more earnings in the country. Mauro Biasuzzi is the only Italian gentleman able to competewith the professionals also abroad, where he achieved prestigious results.He is furthermore the only Italian gentleman having won the most important classical races: among his best wins we remember the Derby in 1999 with Zambesi Bi, the 3rd place in Gran Premio Lotteria in 2001 again with Zambesi Bi and in 2004 Gran Premio Nazionale with Equinoxe Bi.
