After
innumerable pre-conversations, correspondance, phone-calls and
meetings, of the FEGAT executive board with the current UNAT
president, Alain Pagès, and also with a SECF Secretary General,
Jacques Chartier, the way finally seems open to a return of the
French amateurs into the only European amateur trotting organization
FEGAT.
At a meeting of
the UNAT executive board and the executive board of the FEGAT on
saturday, 6th mai 2006 in Paris, the last agreements must be reached
under management of our president C.L.-Ljung/Sweden.
It is the professed goal of both organizations to seal the re-entry of
France into the FEGAT at the next general meeting of the FEGAT on the
occasion of the european Championships 2006 in Moscow.
France - together with Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Holland and
Sweden, - founded the FEGAT in 1954.
During the first 24 years of
FEGAT's existence the former president of France's main
amateurorganisation UNAT, Mr. Robert Debray, conducted the destiny of
the only european amateur trotting organisation FEGAT.
The UNAT seems ready to accept democratic structures and rules of
today's FEGAT without restrictions and wont to become a full member of
FEGAT again.
Negotiations in the same breath are under way also with Cesare Meli,
president of the italian amateur organization
FEDERNAT
.
As an organizer of the world championships in 2006 this one stands
completely alone in the European amateur landscape. The contacts
between the
FEDERNAT
on the one hand and on
the other hand the FEGAT are considerably better for years and
still also supposed to be sealed this year with the joining of the
Italians. The world championship in 2006 in Rome and Naples is
certainly an ideal opportunity to come closer to this goal

Nach unzähligen Vorgesprächen, Abklärungen und
Verhandlungen des FEGAT Vorstandes mit dem aktuellen
UNAT-Präsidenten, Alain Pagès, aber auch mit SECF Generalsekretär,
Jacques Chartier, scheint nun endlich der Weg offen für eine
Rückkehr der französischen Amateure in die einzige Europäische
Traber Amateurorganisation FEGAT
(FÉDÉRATION
EUROPÉENNE DES GENTLEMEN AMA-TEURS ET CAVALIÈRES DU TROT)

Am Samstag,
06.05.2006 sollen in Paris, bei einer Zusammenkunft des
UNAT-Vorstandes und des Vorstandes der FEGAT unter
Leitung Ihres Präsidenten C.L.-Ljung/Schweden die letzten
Vereinbarungen getroffen werden. Das erklärte Ziel beider
Organisationen ist es, an der nächsten Generalversammlung der
FEGAT, anlässlich der Europameisterschaften 2006 in Moskau,
den Wiedereintritt Frankreichs in die FEGAT zu besiegeln.

Frankreich,
dessen traditionsreiche Amateurorganisation UNAT (Union Nationale
des Amateurs du Trot) 1954 zusammen mit Öster-reich,
Belgien, Dänemark, Deutschland, Holland und Schweden die FEGAT
gründete und auch gleich mit Robert Debray während den ersten 24
Jahren den Präsidenten stellte, scheint bereit, die demokratischen
Strukturen und Reglemente der heutigen FEGAT ohne Einschränkungen
zu akzeptieren und wieder ein vollwertiges Mitglied zu werden.
Im gleichen Atemzug
sind auch Verhandlungen mit der
FEDERNAT/Italien im Gange.
Als Organisator der Weltmeisterschaften 2006 steht die, bezüglich
Prestige und Anzahl Mitglieder, nicht weniger wichtige
Italienische Amateurorganisation FEDERNAT völlig alleine in der
Europäischen Amateurlandschaft.
Die seit Jahren wesentlich besseren Kontakte zwischen der FEDERNAT
einerseits und der FEGAT andererseits sollen ebenfalls mit dem
Beitritt der Italiener noch in diesem jahr besiegelt werden.
Die Weltmeisterschaft 2006 in Rom und Neapel ist mit Sicherheit
eine ideale Gelegenheit um diesem Ziel näher zu kommen...
