Dear all!
Due to the political situation in Ukraine, the amateurs there had to postpone the European Championship for gentlemen 2014. I got this information 19th of February and started directly to find another organiser. Today everything falls in the right place and the European Championship for Gentlemen and the FEGAT general assembly will be held in Sweden. Two races will be held on my home track Halmstad in the afternoon of Monday the 22nd of September and two races on Jägersro - Malmoe, the home track of our Swedish president Bengt Larwik, in the evening of the 23rd of September.
Our general assembly will be held in connection with the championship. So far I have no further information but you can count with arrival Sunday 21st of September and departure Wednesday the 24th of September. Nearest airport is Copenhagen or Malmoe. Copenhagen is of course the better solution. From Copenhagen airport Kastrup there is a train to Malmoe central station every 15 minutes. The train takes less than half an hour. The train leaves directly from the airport and it is really easy to find the station.
The Swedish amateurs wish you a hearty welcome and hope that you all will feel yourselves at home!
All the best to you all from the Amateur Clubs in Halmstad + Malmoe and of course Claës
