Introduction

WC Finland 2014

EXCERPT FROM THE FINNISH RACING RULES

We are happy to welcome you to the world championship in Finland! You can freely ask all questions to the board or directly to Mitja Nummenmaa in Finland. His mail is shkl@kolumbus.fi.

FEGAT has received positive answers from Australia, New Zealand and USA. As for Canada we have not been able to get a confirmation about participation yet, they have an interested driver but unfortunately this driver cannot as for today prove 25 wins. Also South Africa has shown interest but they have the same problem – the number of wins. However, they have asked if it will be possible to organise the championship there in 2018 (2016 is booked for Hungary).

The fegat member nations qualified for the WC are:

  • Finland
  • Italy
  • Belgium
  • Russia
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Switzerland
  • The Netherlands
  • hungary
  • Spain

The overseas nations participants in the WC are:

  • USA
  • New Zealand

FEGAT will be represented in the championship by our president Mr. Claës L. Ljung and our second vice president Ms Olga Bondar from Ukraine. Our first vice president Sabine Klettenhofer can not represent as her work is in a very intense period in July.

Also all other FEGAT counties are welcomed to watch the races and chear up the drivers.

Finland amateurs and owners association will  pay 18.000 euro (sponsor money) extra to increase the purses in the nine amateur races.
Then we will have nine good quality races and with each driver racing 9 times.
