	Bjorn Steinseth, 32, of Norway dons red silks complemented by a blue and white cross that symbolizes his country. Steinseth’s homeland has an extensive coastline along the North Atlantic Ocean which is famous for its fjords, and occupies the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, while being bordered on the east side by Sweden, Finland and Russia. Steinseth—who comes from a horse-friendly family--lives in the southeastern part of Norway. Working in his homeland as a financial advisor, Steinseth will be using American dollars for the first time when he competes here in America, instead of his native Norwegian kroner, of which it takes about 7 to equal one dollar. He began driving in 1994 and was crowned Norwegian Amateur Champion in 2007.

Bjørn Steinseth/Norway
is 32 years old. He lives in the south-eastern part of Norway together with Ragnhild, who is also an amateur driver. She is joining him on his trip to the USA.

Bjørn works as a financial advisor. In 2007 he won 27 races, and was Norwegian Amateur Champion.

Bjørn has been racing since 1994. His whole family shares his interest in horses. His father is breeding Norwegian horses and Bjørn's aunt, Anne Marie, (also amateurdriver) is a member of the board of the Norwegian Amateur Association (NTAF). She will attend the World Championship 2008 together with Paal (secretary of NTAF), Bjørn's father Einar and Romund from Biri Racetrack.
