Teddy Wang sports silks carrying the white
cross on the red background, representing his
native Denmark, which is situated in the
Scandinavian region of Northern Europe. Wang’s
homeland is the southernmost of the Nordic
countries, bordering both the Baltic and North
seas. As well, in 2006 and 2007 surveys, Denmark
was ranked as “the happiest place in the world”
based on the standards of health, welfare and
education, with the capital—Copenhagen—ranked as
the third most liveable city in the world.
Besides soccer, harness racing is one of
Denmark’s most popular participant sports, and
it’s amateur driving clubs there are huge.
Besides traditional Standardbreds, Denmark also
features races for their “cold-blooded” horses,
a stockier and heavier version of traditional
American trotters. |

Teddy Wang is 37 years old, but will be 38 years old at the 28.
of November 2007. He is married with his loving Lene Wang, who
will join Teddy to USA.
They have 2 children at 11 and 12 years old. Teddy have no
occupation because he have retired from the working market
because of his helf.
Teddy is living on a farm in the middle of Sjætland, where his
have his horses.
Teddy have been in trotting-sport all his life. His father was
starter in the 70th. As 19 years old Teddy get a
youngh-licens. After 2 years he became a jockey at trainer Arvid
Olsen Stable for 4 years, and after that he went 1 year to
Italy, for working at trainer Roberto Andregetti. Then he went
back to Denmark, and have now being amateur for 12 years.

Teddy have raced about 450 races and won 41. He is the Danish
Amateur Champion 2007, and he is for the moment in the lead
of the amateur-list in Copenhagen 2007 with 6 victories. |
