WORLD CUP ITINERARY – CHICAGO

Thursday, 5/15/08

• Arrive at Doubletree Hotel, Chicago-Oakbrook  1909 Spring Rd., Oakbrook, IL 60523  630/472-6000  11 miles from O’Hare Airport (apprx.30-40min.driving time.  Taxi Fare:  O’Hare to Doubletree Hotel – approx. $30.00 US (plus tip).  Limo’s probably available – approx. $35.00-40.00 plus tip).  No shuttle from Airport to Hotel. 
  • Hotel has complimentary shuttle service to local restaurants/mall (within 5 miles), fitness room, swimming pool, complimentary wireless internet access, iron/ironing board and coffee maker in room.
• Evening @ Leisure.

Friday, 5/16/08

• Complimentary Breakfast Buffet @ Hotel.
• Bus pick-up @ 10:00am. Depart for Navy Pier, Chicago.
• Kanan Lunch Cruise (Private Afternoon Charter), 11:00am-2:00pm.  See Chicago’s world renowned skyline from a unique vantage point on Lake Michigan while enjoying a complete lunch buffet.
• Personal Leisure Time @ Navy Pier 2:00-4:30pm.  Navy Pier consists of 50 acres of parks, promenades, gardens, shops, restaurants and attractions.
• Depart Navy Pier for Maywood Park Ractrack @ 4:30pm.  Post time is @ 7:20pm
• Evening @ Maywood Park for Races and Dinner in the Dining Room.
• Depart Maywood Park @ approx. 10:30-11:00pm.
• Arrive @ Hotel at approximately 11:30pm-12:00am.

Saturday, 5/17/08

• Depart for Balmoral Racetrack @ 5:00pm
• Evening @ Balmoral Park for Races and Dinner in a private suite.
• Depart Balmoral Park @ approx. 11:00pm.
• Arrive @ Hotel at approximately 12:00am.
