Honoured honorary member of the FEGAT

Berit Tveter Alm
comes from a family with pure horse-blood in the venes! Her parents were true fans of harness racing and always kept a lot of horses on their farm.      Berit Tveter Alm, Norway   Honoured honorary member of the FEGAT

During her career so far she has won well over 500 victories! She has been Norwegian champion in different classes 9 times, European Champion 1 time and is still racing every week when at home.

Berit entered the FEGAT committee in 1993 as vice president. When she was elected she was the first woman ever to sit in the FEGAT committee! She has taken care of the womens side of the sport and she has also been a creative and helpful member of our committee.

Always Norway has been willing to organize championships under the FEGAT flag. And when they have organized, Berit has been a very active part of the local organization committee and a link between the Norwegian organizer and FEGAT!

On the FEGAT general assembly 2010 Berit was unanimously elected an honorary member of the FEGAT. She was honoured and given the sign when the ladies European championship was held in Harstad, Norway in June 2010. In her speach thanking FEGAT she expressed a wish that there soon will be a woman in the committee again!
