Katharina
Merz
...lives
in Schöneiche, a small town only ten kilometers away
from the German capital Berlin. It’s the second time
for her to take part at the
European Championship. In 2006 she occupied
fourth place at the racetrack Kincsem Park, Hungary.
In a very thrilling competition, Katharina was only
four points away from the winner Julia Kashkovskaya,
Katharina Merz gained her amateur licence in 1999.
She performed 851 starts and won 210 races, 24 of
them in 2008. In 2005 she succeeded a sensational
result by winning 61 of her 145 starts. This was the
best victory-percentage of all German drivers.
Katharina has one daughter, the eight-year-old
Julia.

Die Berliner Championesse nahm 2006 zum erstenmal an
der
EM in Ungarn
teil und belegte einen vierten Platz mit nur 4
Punkten Rückstand zur Titelge-winnerin.
Die sympathische
Berlinerin ist Mutter einer achtjährigen Tochter und
besitzt seit 1999 ihre Lizenz. Kati hat bisher 210
Siege erzielt, davon 24 im letzten Jahr.
